How I look is a major part of my job. People judge the quality of my work by how I’m able to put myself together. and there are my glasses. sitting right. smack dab. in the middle of my face. before they can even look into my eyes. What is my very visual career you want to know? Interior Design. Can you imagine how particular I am?
Also, I need to see clearly! Patterns, colors, grain, fibers, form, flaws, the facial expressions and eyes of my clients, far away, close up. Yep, I’m a tough one for anyone who thinks they are going to sell me glasses.
I always have two pairs, I work hard at finding the right ones, and I keep them for years. I invest a lot of my budget in them. I need the right ones. But Uptown Eyewear gave me better glasses for less money than any of the other stores I explored.
I went to more than 15 upscale stores over a 3 month period and nothing really sang to me. In the end I had landed on custom wooden frames from a place at Galleria and made an exam appt. Just then a neighbor with cute new glasses recommended Uptown Eyeswear. I have never been more thrilled! They carry a better, more unique and diverse selection than any other store I’ve been to. Younes has an artists soul, and is skilled at finding the right pair for you. He listens to who you are, what you do, what you’re used to and what you’re looking for. Without hesitation, I bought my two pair, and got a great eye exam and could not be more thrilled.
